The Wake-Up Call Europe Needed.

We are building resilience and sovereignty, but we need to be more agile, flexible, proactive and faster with our decision making in this changing World.

It time for Europe to get ahead of the curve. Nobody asked for this moment. But it may be exactly what Europe needed.

For decades, Europe had a comfortable deal: America kept it safe, Russian gas kept its factories running, and globalisation kept its markets open. It was efficient, but it built a continent that was prosperous and deeply exposed. Cheap energy, outsourced defense, American tech, each made sense in isolation. Together, they created dangerous dependency.

That comfortable arrangement is now gone. And the disruption, painful as it is, may be the best thing that could have happened.

Pressure creates what comfort never could

Europe is already responding faster than anyone predicted. It now must act even faster we need to become proactive instead of reactive. Defense spending is surging. Sovereign cloud and AI alternatives are emerging. A European payments network is being built. Renewable energy is cutting fossil fuel dependency. New Social Partnership Platform being developed. None of this would have happened at this pace without the shock of recent years.

Sometimes a system only fixes its weaknesses when it's forced to. Europe is being forced and it's responding.

Will it work?

That depends on one thing: whether Europeans choose unity over division. History offers cautious optimism. The financial crisis, Brexit, the pandemic each time the pessimists predicted collapse, Europe held together and often came out more integrated than before.

The world order is changing whether Europe is ready or not. The question isn't whether the wake-up call came —it's whether Europe answers it.

The signs, for once, are encouraging.
